Events In Morzine - Basscamp Festival

Basscamp Festival Morzine - 2nd-6th April 2012. So good we've created a whole section about it.

Events In Les Gets

Ebouelle Freestyle Competition - Thursday 1st March 2012
This has to be seen to be believed. France's best young freestyle skiers competiting in Les Gets for one evening only.
They come down the main piste, through the arch in the Tourist Office Building, hit a big ramp before jumping over the road then landing by the side of the ice rink. It's an amazing thing to see if real life, definitely well recommended.

Events In Avoriaz

Avoriaz Cabaret Week 7th-13th January
This week, each night, 6 cabaret diners will take place in Avoriaz's restaurants, with lots of variety on offer: French popular songs, café-théâtre, comedians, visual numbers and more…A very warm and varied atmosphere with the days spent outdoors enjoying the skiing.

Rock the Pistes - Great Outdoors Music Festival - 24th-28th March
In 2012 we are bringing together the best of the French and international pop-rock scene in Europe's only festival of the kind:

- amazing concerts, free, every day and on pistes that you can access with your ski pass

- festival-goers are informed by text message the day before the concert so they can ski to
the stages built in different places around the Portes du Soleil ski area in stunning surroundings.

Avoriaz Jazz Festival - 31st March - 6th April
Avoriaz Jazz Up has now earned a reputation as one of France's great jazz festivals thanks to the amazing line-up of international stars it has attracted in the last 5 years: Archie Shepp, Ahmad Jamal, China Moses, Didier Lockwood, André Manoukian and more....
This season the programme will be based around 7 headliner concerts in the festival hall and 40 cabaret-style diner-concerts.
